Topshop Ready To Wear SS17

SS17 is near, especially within the Aloma studio as the elimination and decision of fabrics used is upon us. Our favourite looks for SS17 originate from the runways of designers such as Oscar De La Renta, Marissa Webb, Ralph and Russo and Alberta Ferretti to only name a few. Sheer fabrics contrasted with velvet, suede and lace became prime features throughout all collections in SS17, and therefore it is heavily used throughout both our bespoke collection and ready to wear.

The layering technique of sheer fabrics, when contrasted with fabrics like lace creates a delicate yet prominent feature for any garment. The clean cut edges of the sheer fabric amplifies its intentional transparency, which will be reflected throughout Aloma Designs' SS17 collection.

Marissa Webb SS17

Webb's collection is a strong colour palette, which is maintained throughout the mixture of fabrics used, most prominent being satin and leather.

The manipulation of the waist line is strong throughout Webbs' collection, also using heavy fabrics such as suede and leather in order to amplify this focus on the figure. The elegance remains through each creation, despite the manipulation and structure of some materials which is an aspect which is woven into Aloma Designs SS17.

Saint Laurent SS17

Although delicate laces and satins predominantly take centre stage through SS17 runways, metallic fibre materials also produce a strong presence, and are often contrasted with the sheer fabrics. Saint Laurent's use of juxtaposing materials throughout designs creates a new aesthetic on the runway. The luxurious contrasts throughout Laurent's collection will definitely be used as inspiration and be reflected throughout Aloma Designs SS17 release.

Throughout Aloma Designs studio, fabric is being swatched and tested in order to maintain the latest designs as well as best quality and aesthetic throughout each creation. Both our bespoke and ready to wear lines will reflect the SS17 collections, ensuring all garments uphold an elegant and powerful look straight from the runway by focusing heavily on fabrics such as sheer mesh, lace, velvet and metallic fibre fabrics.
